Not a strain, not a flavour, not a collaboration. The self-titled pack, the flagship, and the format that gave every other product in the catalogue its architecture. Where the rest of the line arrives rolled — a blunt, a preroll, a three-pack — this arrives loose. Two grams of Moon Rocks in the pack, printed as 0.071 oz, and nothing between them and you.

What a Presidential Moon Rock actually is

The composition line on this pack reads FLOWER · DISTILLATE · KIEF.

Flower first. Distillate over it. Kief on the outside. Three stages, applied in sequence, each one adding weight and surface the previous one could not carry on its own. The result is dense enough that it does not behave like flower. It holds together, it burns slowly, and it is noticeably heavy for its size.

That process is the Presidential Infusion System, and it has been the company's whole argument since Los Angeles, 2012. Every Gold Strain Series pack, every Silver Flavour Series pack, every collaboration release runs through it. This pack is the process without a strain name in front of it.

Read the composition line, because it changes

Look across the catalogue and the three ingredients are not constant.

Some packs carry LIVE RESIN where this one carries DISTILLATE. Some carry DIAMONDS where this one carries KIEF. Cap Junky carries LIQUID LIVE RESIN, a fourth variant. Gorilla Goo runs four ingredients rather than three. Presidential OG — despite sharing the house name with this pack — is built on live resin and diamonds, not distillate and kief.

They are related products from the same house and the same process, and they are not interchangeable. The line printed on the pack in your hand is the accurate description of what is in that pack, every time. It is the single most useful thing to read on a Presidential label and most people never look at it.

The format, and why loose is a different decision

The rest of the catalogue decides the format for you. The Blunt is 1.5 grams rolled, .053 oz. The Preroll is 1 gram, .035 oz. The Mini Blunts are three at 0.7 grams, the Mini Prerolls three at 0.5 grams. Each of those is a finished object.

Loose Moon Rocks are not. You are choosing what happens next — a bowl, a joint you roll yourself, a blunt broken down and rebuilt. It is the only pack in the line that hands the decision back.

The pack

A metallic teal 1960s convertible lowrider rides the inside curve of an enormous sweeping ribbon of liquid teal chrome that arcs across the frame like a crescent. Behind it, a pale full moon whose right edge dissolves into a strip of silhouetted California palm trees. The liquid drips at the bottom.

It is the most Los Angeles piece of artwork in the entire catalogue, and on the flagship pack that is not an accident. The company started there and the self-titled pack says so without a word of copy.
