Blue Raspberry

Blue Raspberry exists in two printed versions and they are not identical. It is the clearest example in the catalogue of why the composition line on the pack is the only description worth trusting.

Two packs, two composition lines

Both are Blue Raspberry. Both are Indica. Both are Moon Rock Blunts. Both carry the 100% Tobacco Free diamond. The difference is the finishing layer — kief on one, diamonds on the other.

What the two versions share

Flower as the base and distillate as the coat, in both.

That is the older, heavier Presidential build — the same one the self-titled flagship Moon Rocks pack carries — as distinct from the live-resin construction used on Blue Dream, 24K, Presidential OG, King Louis and most of the Gold Strain Series. Distillate and kief, distillate and diamonds, live resin and diamonds, liquid live resin and diamonds: these are four different finishes from one process, and Presidential prints which one you have.

This page is the Moon Rock Blunt: one blunt, 1.5 grams, .053 oz on the flat label.

Blue Raspberry also appears in the Mini Preroll three-pack — three at 0.5 grams each, 1.5 grams total. The rest of the ladder runs Preroll at 1 gram, loose Moon Rocks at 2 grams, and Mini Blunts at 3 × 0.7 grams for 2.1 grams total. Which formats and which version a shop carries varies by retailer and by market.

Two designs, two jobs

The illustrated pack: a rich blue field with a frosty silver-blue cannabis fan leaf rising behind the blunt, red and blue raspberries scattered around it, and a dramatic double helix of red and blue liquid chrome ribboning and dripping across the frame, glossy metallic droplets thrown across the whole image.

The flat label: a plain graduated-blue field, no scenery at all. A royal-blue label carrying the silver crest, the PRESIDENTIAL banner and a silver-white name panel.

One is built for a shelf, where it has to win a glance from three feet away. The other is built for a menu screen, where it sits at thumbnail size next to forty other products and needs to be legible rather than loud. Same product, two entirely different jobs.
