Presidential OG

When a house puts its own name on a strain, the strain has to answer for the house.

Presidential OG is the one product in the catalogue where there is nowhere to hide. Blue Dream can lean on Blue Dream. Cap Junky arrives with a collaborator's logo on the front. King Louis arrives with a media partner. This one carries the crest and nothing else.

Two products, one name — the composition line separates them

There is a flagship Presidential pack and there is a Presidential OG pack, and they are different builds.

Live resin and diamonds is the heavier construction. Resin as the coat, crystalline diamonds as the finish on the outside. Distillate and kief is the older build and produces a different surface entirely.

Both are made by the same house through the same Presidential Infusion System, which has run on the same sequence since Los Angeles in 2012: flower as the body, a coat applied over it, a finishing layer applied over that. What varies is which material fills each of those three roles, and the pack always tells you.

The format ladder

This page is the Moon Rock Blunt. One blunt, Net Wt. 1.5G (.053oz), printed clearly on this label rather than obscured by artwork — one practical advantage of a flat design over an illustrated one.

Across the catalogue the numbers hold constant. Preroll: one unit, 1 gram, .035 oz. Loose Moon Rocks: 2 grams, 0.071 oz. Mini Blunts: three at 0.7 grams, 2.1 grams total. 100% TOBACCO FREE sits in the diamond at the base of the label. No tobacco in the wrap, printed on the front of the pack rather than buried in small type on the back.

The pack, and the decision behind it

This is one of the few packs in the catalogue with no scene behind it at all. No artwork, no fruit, no landscape, no moon. A solid teal field. The silver crown crest and the PRESIDENTIAL banner at the top, a bright starburst crescent "1", MOON ROCK BLUNT in grey and white, a plain white panel reading PRESIDENTIAL OG, and the tobacco-free diamond at the base.

That is the entire design.

Every other pack in the line is competing for attention on a crowded shelf — King Louis has a crowned figure, NYC Diesel has the Statue of Liberty, Galactic Gas has two planets. This one is stating a name. On the house strain, restraint is the design decision, and it is the loudest thing about it.
