Rainbow Belts

It is the most playful pack in the catalogue and it sits on the darkest background in it. That contrast is the entire idea.

The composition line reads LIVE RESIN · DIAMONDS, with the leading word covered by the artwork on this pack. Across the Gold Strain Series that leading word is FLOWER.

Flower, live resin, diamonds. The same three-stage construction as every other Gold Series release — flower as the body, live resin as the coat, crystalline diamonds as the finish. A candy-store name does not get a candy-store product, and the Presidential Infusion System does not have a lighter setting for sweeter names.

The sweet end of the catalogue

Presidential runs a number of confection-led names and they share a design language: bright, sugary, high-contrast, built around a single dominant food image.

Rainbow Belts has candy belts around a moon. Blue Raspberry has raspberries and a helix of red and blue liquid chrome. Cherry Gelato has scoops spilling from a waffle cone. Tropicana Cookies renders the word COOKIES in chocolate-chip letters. Papaya Punch buries the pack in tropical fruit.

What they do not share is a shortcut. Every one of them runs through the same process the company has used since 2012, and several of them — Cherry Gelato with ROVE, Tropicana Cookies with Platinum — carry a collaboration partner's mark on the front.

The build is identical in all five. Which strains appear in which formats varies by market and by what a retailer chooses to stock — the three-packs in particular are not offered in every state for every strain.

Reading the pack

Underneath the candy, the standard architecture is intact: WORLD'S STRONGEST across the top, the strain type in script, the silver crown crest and PRESIDENTIAL banner, the crescent-moon unit numeral, the format line, the name lozenge, and the composition line separated by pot-leaf dots. On illustrated packs like this one the net weight line is frequently obscured by artwork.
