XXX is the Gold Strain Series at its most direct — a name that skips the introduction entirely and lets the pack do the rest. There is no fruit on this label, no landscape, no story about where the strain came from. Just three letters and a build.

The build

The pack reads FLOWER · LIVE RESIN · KIEF.

Flower forms the body. Live resin coats it. Kief finishes the outside — the dry, powdery layer that bonds to the resin and gives the rock its matte surface and its weight in the hand. Three stages, applied in that order.

That sequence is the Presidential Infusion System, and it has run unchanged since the company started in Los Angeles in 2012. What varies from product to product is which materials fill the three roles, and the composition line on the front of every pack tells you exactly which ones. Blue Dream runs live resin and diamonds. The self-titled flagship runs distillate and kief. Cap Junky runs liquid live resin. XXX runs live resin and kief — a combination that puts a resin coat under a dry finish rather than a crystalline one.

The format

This is the Mini Blunt three-pack. Three blunts at 0.7 grams each, 2.1 grams total, printed on the pack as .075 oz. The crescent moon on the front carries a 3 rather than the 1 you see on the single formats.

That number is the whole point of the format. A Moon Rock Blunt is one object at 1.5 grams — one sitting, one decision. Three at 0.7 grams is a different proposition: three separate occasions from one pack, or one pack across three people. The build inside is identical. What changes is how it gets used.

100% TOBACCO FREE, marked in the diamond at the base of the pack. The wrap carries no tobacco, and Presidential prints that on the front rather than burying it on the back.

XXX also appears in the other Presidential formats — the Moon Rock Blunt at 1.5 grams, the Preroll at 1 gram, loose Moon Rocks at 2 grams, and the Mini Preroll three-pack at 3 × 0.5 grams. Same build in every one.

The pack

WORLD'S STRONGEST runs across the top in the house serif, with Indica scripted beneath it. The silver crown crest and the PRESIDENTIAL banner sit below that, then the bright crescent 3, then MOON ROCK MINI BLUNTS in two weights of type. XXX sits in its own panel in large white letters, with FLOWER · LIVE RESIN · KIEF beneath it separated by small pot-leaf marks. The tobacco-free diamond and the net weight close the base.

Most of the Gold Strain Series competes for attention with artwork — a crowned figure, a locomotive, two planets, a wall of tropical fruit. XXX competes by refusing to. On a shelf of illustrated packs, the plain one is the one that stops you.
